Meet Crystal!

Crystal spends her time teaching 24 wonderful, smart, and hilarious first graders! She is a kid at heart and loves to have adventures, explore, learn, and grow! She has worked with children for 12 years, but has spent the last 6 years in an elementary school. She is dedicated to her passion of developing a child's whole being: socially, emotionally, physically, and educationally. In 2016, she will begin a new position of being a mentor teacher/coach to other teachers.

She grew up both in Phoenix, AZ and North Carolina and enjoyed spending time with both sides of her family. Because of growing up in a split family, her desire to give a child a stable and loving environment is even stronger! She can speak some Spanish and Italian and hopes to teach her children both languages. She values family, quality time, responsibility, honesty, manners, and education.

She enjoys spending time being creative by doing things like painting, drawing, designing, dressing up, and taking pictures! Getting messy is always a bonus! She loves to read, especially children's books, which Patrick has listened to several of them! She spends her free time going on picnics, playing board games, riding bikes, watching movies, swimming, taking their two dogs to the dog park, and hiking/walking on the local trails. Most importantly, she loves to make memories with her friends and family enjoying the simple things in life!

Some of her favorites:

Dessert: Ice Cream and fruit
